My approach and qualifications

I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Counselling and over 15 years’ experience supporting children, young people and adults across the UK and Australia. My work is grounded in compassion, professionalism and a deep commitment to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience and self‑understanding.

I offer support for a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, panic disorders, depression, low self-esteem, grief and bereavement (including loss through suicide or traumatic death), relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, attachment difficulties, abuse and neglect, addiction, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and disordered eating.

My therapy room provides a safe, confidential and non‑judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and relational patterns at a pace that feels right for them. Together, we look at how past experiences may be shaping present struggles, and we work collaboratively to create meaningful, long‑term change.

I believe that the heart of effective therapy lies in a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I take time to listen deeply, understand what brings each person to therapy, and tailor my approach to their unique needs. Many clients come to me when old coping strategies no longer feel effective; through our work, they gain new insights, develop healthier patterns and reconnect with a stronger sense of self.

As an Integrative therapist, I draw on a range of evidence‑based approaches, including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy and Somatic approaches. This allows me to create a personalised therapeutic experience that supports each client’s goals and overall wellbeing.

My professional background includes work in school settings, private practice and within the bereavement charity Just B. I have extensive experience of working with neurodiverse clients. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical guidelines. I also hold an enhanced DBS for work with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

If you’re looking for trauma‑informed therapy, support through a difficult period, or a space to understand yourself more deeply, I offer a warm, authentic and collaborative approach to help you move forward.
